Horrible communication and follow up. 3 months of begging through messages on the patient portal (phone calls are voicemail message only, maybe you'll get a callback in a week from the nurse, but from Dr Hira, forget it),,for my RX refill,,3 months! When I finally get a response from the nurse, who is conveying the doctors response, it's clear the doctor was not even listening to my concerns, or history, or even what medication has been working for me. Dr. Hira was very knowledgeable and very nice! She is literally a lifesaver! She looked at me and said before we do the procedures I want to let you know your at a high risk for airway problems so instead of not doing the endoscopy and colonoscopy at all we can lightly sedate you and since you did the prep already will try and do just the colonoscopy however, if anything should go wrong we will immediately stop the procedure. By her caring about me so much she has got my business for life!!!
Dr. Hira is kind and really cares. She listens and takes all of your concerns seriously. I went to her with a concern and she was diligent in finding the reason for my symptoms. She will follow through and is responsive in communicating. I have referred her to multiple friends and will continue to.
Find someone else! No return calls, no follow ups no nothing. Just go get labs....or her suggestion get a new doctor!
