Should’ve read other reviews before letting my GP blindly refer me to any rheumatologist. I attended my appointment after waiting 10 months for it. My bloodwork and ultrasound on the day were normal (honestly as I expected, as I wasn’t actively flaring), however I left the appointment feeling completely dismissed and spoken over. I have been a patient of Dr Andrew Taylor for 25 years. I was a new mum and couldn't even pick him up with my hands as I was so debilitated with stiff painful joints throughout my entire body. The Dr told me that it is clear that I have RA even though my blood results do not show it. I commenced on medications and after several trials I was luck enough to fit the criteria for Humira injections. Dr Taylor and the reception team are amazing ! They offered my lovely Dad the very best of care and were without fail, warm, kind and understanding at each appointment. Dad had late onset lupus and many other conditions, he was treated with great respect and his health and well being were clearly very important to Dr Taylor and the team, they liased regularly with other specialists caring for Dad. Ha this dr said I didn't have psoratic arthritis. Now treated by another rumatologist for the past few years and on biological treatment. Say no more.
