Amazing surgeon, very kind and personable.
In early December 2025 I had hernia surgery at NHH in Cobourg and my surgeon was Dr. Stratford who was recommended to me by a long-time friend. Best decision I could have made. Dr. Stratford is not only a highly competent surgeon but is a down to earth, compassionate and engaging person. I would also like to say that Dr. Stratford's surgical team was top notch and my total experience at Northumberland Hills Hospital was brilliant. Many thanks to all involved.
I ended up in the hospital on the Easter weekend (2024)with an infected Gall bladder - I was transported to the hospital by ambulance and ended up in Cobourg hospital-- I was able to meet Dr Stratford in the early afternoon and I can tell you I was totally impressed - he is the most down to earth and concerned Doctor I have ever dealt with- He had me scheduled for surgery within a couple of hours and called his OR team in.
