This is fully based on my experience. I decided to go private because I was not sure how long I would have to wait in the public system. I have been using a sleep machine for years, and this year it was not working well. I was very determined that I needed good sleep for good health. I rarely write bad reviews, but I feel that it is important to warn any potential patients to avoid Dr. Scott at all costs. I was referred to him in early 2024 through my GP due to problems with my sleep schedule and insomnia. Avoid this doctor at all cost. Extremely rude and over priced. Recommend seeing Dr John Feenstra over him if you want to be treated like a human being!

n 2021, Dr Scott diagnosed me with severe sleep apnoea and sold me an over priced CPAP machine. He refused to discuss, and completely discounted, other forms of treatment. Fortunately for me, my machine was recalled. I did a buteyko breathing course. A recent repeat sleep study showed no sleep apnoea. Dr Scott was wrong in either my original result or the benefits of other therapies. Either way, I felt that his only interest was selling me a CPAP machine and pocketing my money.
