He is excellent, takes the time to go over medical history and tests that have been done. I drive 300 + miles just to see him I have that much confidence in him.
Dr. Somilyo is very thorough, explains everything so you can understand him and doesn't keep you waiting. Every time I have seen him I left feeling he cared about me.
Dr Somlyo was a very caring competent doctor. He went to bat for me when I chose a procedure the insurance company would mot pay for but I chose to pay for it out of pocket and I made an agreement with the office and they changed their mind but he stood up for me and I paid it off. But this treatment was not a clear best choice we were gambling a bit but we did it and it slowed my kidney failure and I’m still doing well years later and this was only one of the great recommendations he made for me that worked out for the best... read more
I'm writing this review on behalf of my uncle who called me the other morning raving (which he rarely does) about Dr. Somlyo and how he had been one of the few to help him get his needed tums medication ordered after meals. My uncle is a very vulnerable immobile and essentially homeless person/patient. Thanks Dr. Somlyo & team for being a beacon of goodness/decency in my uncle's life.
