i just received an email regarding the relocation of his practice and it reminded me of the horrible experience i had with him. I was sent to him as part of my breast cancer treatment plan. He was so inconsiderate and rude that after my first appointment with him, I immediately canceled my upcoming mastectomy and changed doctors and hospitals altogether. I am convinced that if i would have let him perform the restorative part of my mastectomy, it would have been a disaster. Do not go to him.
Brought my daughter to him for treatment for a pressure wound that was healing, but her other doctor moved out of town. He said he would operate and put a flap of skin across her tailbone inside the wound to keep infection out. Instead, he removed her tailbone and cut away all the healed skin and more, leaving her with a gaping wound over double the size it had been. Horrified, we switched to another doctor, but too late. She spent the following 9 months in and out of the hospital before she died.
So pleased with the outcome. Dr. Gavagan always took his time and was so helpful.
