I am a heart surgeon and researcher who treats patients with birth defects of the heart. Ive been at Duke for 12 years. Since I treat patients who were born with defects most of my patients tend to be children. My research looks at outcomes of patients who have had surgery and transplants to treat their heart defects. He came to explain to us how surgery went.He was professional in his approach to addressing the questions we asked of him. He also obliged my request to take his picture after coming out of a difficult but successful surgery on my little one. For this I am forever thankful for his service. I pray that wherever he is may God bless and keep him.
This surgeons is a horrible physician. Stay away!!. Duke has other pediatric heart surgeons that are way better than Lodge
Andy is a great doctor. He takes his work very serious and we found him to be always honest in a situation where we didn't need fluff and protection from reality. He has a unique sense of humor that we enjoyed and would take our kid back if need be in the future. Most importantly he has the support of all the staff in the pediatric cardiology unit.
Thanks so much for your wonderful and professional dental care. Everyone (from the front desk, to the hygienist, to the dentist) is always so caring. I have a real phobia and the, patient, calming, caring nature of everyone makes it easier for me. Great Care, doctor, and staff! When I told Dr. Vanyo's staff members about my excruciating pain, they immediately schedule me for the next day. Then, during the visit, they realized that I needed specialized care as may have a cracked tooth. They called the specialist right away and their referral granted me an appointment on the same day- just 1.5 hours later. Love going to Dr. Vanyo for my teeth! I am terrified of needles but when I am there I have no worries. Everyone there is so nice & laid back. Kelly works around my schedule at work to get me in there on my lunch and it works out perfect. I can call them with any issues I am having & they get me in there right away! No hassle. Best work
