Andrew Cutler was my Primary care Physician for 11 years. Was always caring and nice. But..... After 10 years of prescribing the state Max every month for klonopin, as a courtesy replacement for My Psychiatrist. 3 years of methadone and oxycodone, as a courtesy after 6 years of Pain management. Cutler took over the pain meds to streamline things for Me, then out of knowhere He: Cutler accused Me of taking advantage of Him and told Me to "Go stand in line with the rest of Them!" Dr. Cutler has been my PCP for a few years. He's a great doctor. I have always found him extremely attentive and kind. I feel very comfortable with him and I have recommended him to friends. The front desk staff sucks but that has nothing to do with him.
The guy is a clown. Doesn't take any test results seriously, says everything is fine even if you have a ton of symptoms and abnormal lab results. I wouldn't trust him to tie his shoes right let alone practice medicine, avoid at all costs.
I've been seeing Dr Cutler for my parents for a few years. Over time, I learnt that what is important in a primary care physician is the time and attention they give you, and Dr Cutler definitely does that. My own doctor downtown only sees me for 20 minutes at a time, while we just got out from Dr Cutler after what was about 1 hr and a half, during which he addressed all our concerns, set up specialist follow ups and we got done all bloodwork, etc that comes with a physical.
