No one wants to have a root canal, but when that unfortunate time comes it's important to have a great doctor to do the work. Dr Fossum is one of those. He showed me that root canals aren't nearly as bad as they used to be (had my first one 25 years ago and it was horrible) and are more like a filling these days. I've seen him 4 times now and each visit was quick, professional, and other than a quick pinch from the novocaine, pain free. I was recommended to Dr. Fossum by another dentist and was greatly disappointed. At the visit I was told new x-rays were necessary because he didn't want to use the x-rays sent over by the dentist. Between the x-rays and visit, I was charged almost $1,000 to be told in 5 minutes he couldn't help me. During the visit I felt like he really didn't want to be bothered by me. I cannot recommend him based on my experience.

$300 for some x-rays and 5 minutes with Dr Fossum. He made me feel like I was wasting his time. His responses to my questions were condescending to some degree. I cannot recommend.
