It should not be this difficult to see a patient. 3 weeks I’ve called to see Scanga for my father. Not once when I get a returned call do I get an appointment. Last week, I was told we needed the ultrasound moved to a sooner day AFTER the er did a ct scan the prior week. My father has 13 drs and he has 2-4 appointments a week. I also work. My brother and family had been through horrific disasters I wouldn't wish upon any family! It's NEVER RIGHT, but my brother drank our family hardships! Dr.Scanga saved my brother when he didn't have another 48hrs to live, he barely made it through a 12hr surgery! Idc what u guys think, but my brother is a better, and got 2nd chance at life because of Dr Scanga...so thank You!
I was referred to Dr Scanga after consistently high liver enzymes after chemotherapy and an incomplete spinal cord injury. He pretty much assumed I was not eating healthy and was “just overweight”. When we walked out I felt horrible about myself, my husband was disgusted by Dr Scanga’s rude and descending tone, and I was told to just eat “healthier”. I am still dealing with problems and refuse to go back to him.
Excellent care from the time I booked the appointment to the actual visit. Caring and respectful doctor and staff. Dr. Scanga was empathetic and thorough in the information provided.
