I had a freak golf accident that tore up my retina, top and bottom. As soon as an eye doc saw it, they said you want the best of the best to operate - and that’s Dr Chang. He did indeed operate quickly, and within a few months my eye now has *better* (6/6) vision than the non-damaged eye. Beyond his obvious skill, I appreciate his assertiveness, transparency and expectation management. He was the only person firm enough to say “if you don’t rest it like this, you will lose your eye”. I have been coming to this clinic for specialist eye care as long as Andrew Chang has been running it(and before). World class care and treatment have always been my experience. Given the nature of his work there are times when he must attend to another’s urgent and unscheduled treatment. This may on occasion push out wait periods but that’s unavoidable.
The wait is ridiculous, they make the appointment at 8am, and its 9am and you still waiting. At least should tell people how long is the wait so they dont make any plans. Advice: I Reserve 4h of your time to be seated waiting.
