Was incredibly dismissive of what I’m going through, told me it’s all normal and didn’t listen to what I was saying, just a Quick Look at the tests. Ignored my explanation of the symptoms i experience and brushed them off despite the serious impact they have on my life. Very much seemed that because it’s not going to kill me it doesn’t matter.
I saw Dr Catanchin in around June 24 because I had SVT for around 30 years and now aged 61 i was having longer episodes. He explained exactly what could be done, booked me in, did it (overnight stay) and now 3 months down the track I have not had an episode of SVT despite an espresso a day which would normally trigger it off. Dr Catanchin has performed 5 procedures on me over the past 5 years with excellent results and a very caring competent and supportive approach. His choice of anaesthetist and hospital reinforced this view and his follow up with my wife following the procedures gave the family great comfort
