I am a medstudent from Austria, where I was in NYC for a medical rotation as a medical student when I became ill. At the time, I did not have health insurance, or it was too complicated to make use of it. I consulted Dr. Anatole Barkan, who treated me with great professionalism, respect, and kindness. He did not charge me for the visit, explaining simply: “Doctors do not charge doctors.” I am very grateful for his generosity and integrity. An excellent physician and an exceptional human being.

Dr Barkan is a great doctor. Smart, sincere, friendly and proficient. I e been seeing him for nearly a year and everything has been great. I jave many medical issues. He sends me to correct specailists. I will continue to see him as i find him to be a hreat doctor and person in general.
