I have had a few different neurologist for MS.. Dr. Lizama is the best. Very compationate and thorough. I would highly recommend her.
I had an absolutely incredible experience with Dr. Lizama. I can confidently say she is the best doctor I have ever seen. I’ve never had someone spend so much time talking with me and really listening to what I was going through. She went so far above and beyond to help me with the issues we discussed. I would recommend her to anyone!
You will feel dismissed and like you are inconveniencing Dr. Lizama at every visit. She is very cold, detached, and doesn't know how to communicate outside of medical terminology to help you understand everything. She ignored my issues and blamed other doctors. I highly recommend you find a different neurologist as soon as possible.
12/10/23 I do NOT recommend her!!! Not able to select NO stars so I had to select one star. Dr Lizama is very cold and not all willing to listen to my life needs!!! My life, family and work seem to inconvenience her. My previous neurologist of 10 years, Dr. Robert Thies, retired in 2020. He was amazing! He listened to me as a person, not just as someone with Multiple Sclerosis. He took the time to get to know me as a person not just a patient.
