This doctor gave me c diff twice because of her negligence. She is a walk in clinic doctor at Mayo in Eau Claire. The first time she prescribed me meds for an infection that I was normally given the cream form for, but I didn't question it thinking I needed the pill form, trusting her judgement as a doctor. She did not tell me that it could cause c diff and I got it. Then 3 years later she misdiagnosed me with a uti which ended up being kidney stones. Love, love, love Dr. Amy Thorpe-Swenson MD. Visited her at the Mayo Clinic Urgent Care facility on July 28th, 2016 thinking I had a mild infection somewhere, as evidenced by a recurring fever. My blood pressure plummeted, I couldn't walk and I was trying to faint. Calm as a cucumber, Dr. Amy ordered an ambulance and had me transported to Mayo Clinic's Luther Hospital. Oh but that we lived in the WI area, she's a keeper!!!
