Dr. Hjort is caring n excellent OBgyn. I had history of breast cancer n abnormal pap. I had my annual with DR. Hjort n she always listen to my progress n concern. She takes time to answer them. Her office will call with follow up results of pap, ultrasound n other procedures. She s a awesome OBgyn one of my fav
She is caring, knowledgeable and nice. She’s very busy but takes time to answer questions. Patients love her.
Last year, I had an annual exam appointment with Dr. Hjort, she rushed me through the process, promised to answer my questions later, (which she did not) and showed zero interest in my well being. It is obvious that she profits more from delivering babies than delivering care to women in menopause. I tried for another appointment this year, was asked to wait 30 to 45 mins, or longer as Dr. Hjort is backed up with patients. I left. Sad how Dr. Hjort feels she can treat patients this way.
Apparently I can't really leave my review here. Suffice it to say that I needed an ultrasound for fibroids and I was never contacted after my initial exam last year. Now I have a prolapse and need a hysterectomy. This could have been taken care of last year and would have showed up on the ultrasound if I would have gotten one and had a real OBGYN. Now I have Dr. Vlad Leibovsky. He's wonderful! Instead of some rude girl I have someone competent. And quick. Had an ultrasound in a week!
Dr. Hjort is an excellent doctor, knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely cares about her patients. Highly recommend.
Dr. Hjort is the best GYN , MD I have ever encountered. That is saying something when you are almost 64 years old! The sensitivity, empathy, broad experience and wealth of knowledge she shows is amazing! I can tell she individualizes her plan of care by the questions she asks and the responses I gave.
