Dr. Stino gave me a thorough exam and confirmed a diagnosis from my cardiologist. I'm feeling much better after implementing his suggestions. I finally have an answer to something I have been battling for 38 years. Although I appear to be healthy, I have had a lot of problems like dropping things, falling and feeling faint. Now I have medication, exercises, diet and other supports that have made me feel better. I can't thank him enough for everything.
Having a rare disease is hard enough and then being told your pain is all in your head is worse. I was in tears and shaking from the pain and he tried to get my family to put me on a 51/50 psychiatric hold. There are 8 of us with the same condition who this has happened to. My mom was very sick... Her family doctor couldn't figure what she had, so she referred us to see Dr. Amro Stino, a Neurologist.. I can literally say this Dr. Is an angel.. he listened and answered my mom's too many questions with patience and a smile. He immediately started tests and those tests supported what he diagnosed.. I want to thank Dr. Stino for his extreme care and patience with my mom. Also for finding out what she has and set her on the right path. You definitely went above and beyond to help us.
Dr Stino did not appear to take a sincere interest in my situation and was in a hurry to get to his next appointment. As it turned out, his opinion was incorrect as proven by 2 other physicians.
