The visit to Tampa General Hospital proved Dr Ammar Alahmar is ver insensitive to Patients communication or care. My daughter was seen at the hospital ER at 6PM on a Friday and the following day we waited to see Dr Alahmar for hours while sitting in a chair for over 18 hours. When he was contacted by hospitals staffers to advised on how long we had been waiting, we was advised his response “ let them know I have a lot of other patients I have to see.” His response DID NOT give us a set time of expectations. We had him as a hospitalist for my spouse at tampa general for a couple of days. What a great md. He took his time with us to make sure he answered all of our questions. He also referred us to doctors for my husband's other issues. He also made sure my husband had pain med for his broken foot. Always with a smile. Great bedside manner. Wish he could be a MD in community closer to us. Great job tgh hiring good mds.
