I was referred to Dr Ahmad by my optometrist Dr Bob Steinmetz. I was under the care of a Oculoplastic surgeon at Northwestern downtown and prior to that I was taken care of by a Oculoplastic surgeon at Wheaton eye clinic. Both of those surgeons did surgery on my and diagnosed me incorrectly with eye issues from Psoriatic arthritis. Dr. Ahmad lived up to his reputation as being the best in the business, AND for having an unusually amazing bedside manner. I was referred to Dr. Ahmad for a medical insurance based cosmetic ptosis procedure. The entire experience was first class. Dr. Ahmad's entire staff was incredibly professional, friendly and a joy to be around (along with Dr. Ahmad himself). Dr. Ahmad is a unique doctor. He’s an artist, a perfectionist, a genuine healer but most importantly an incredible human being. It was amazing watching the enthusiasm at which he masters his profession. I am blessed to now call him my friend. My procedure involved ptosis surgery and upper lid blepharoplasty to both eyes.
