I had covid in 2020 and he wanted to vent me from high flow ox but had not tried the bipap non invasive intubation I wouldn't sign and he called my daughter Next of Ken she told him no vent and asked about the bipap so he orderdt he bipap and I was on it 1 week in the icu my new dr Next day was so glad I didn't get vented because I wouldn't have made it this dr wasn't happy that they were pushing me to be vented prior to using the bipap needless to say I didn't see this dr again
