dismissive, asked for school reports yet clearly didn't read them (not even a brief overview), incredibly rushed. very obvious that money is dr amin's priority. made me purchase this 'brain scanning' program but nothing came of it: no results, no diagnosis, no explanation of its relevance. receptionist was also incredibly unprofessional - for a psychiatry clinic, she was brusque and cold. literally have never felt less welcome anywhere
Unfortunately, my experience with Dr. Amir was quite disappointing. It felt like he was more focused on rushing to the next patient than addressing my concerns. He didn’t seem to care enough or provide proper attention to my condition. His recommendations were superficial and didn’t help me at all. I wouldn’t recommend him if you’re looking for a doctor who truly listens and cares for their patients.
$370 for an appointment for a simple repeat script! Absolute joke and no help offered by the rude receptionist. Point blank - happy to deny patient care for the sake of $ it seems. Out of principle we are not going back! He’s not that good! Do not recommend
The best child psychiatrist I've met on the Gold coast. We have had some terrible experiences with other child psychologists and psychiatrists with my daughters ADHD in the last few years. We got a referral to a highly recommended psychiatrist but his waitlist was 1.5 years for an appointment for a prescription. I actually found dr Amin on google search and honestly he is the best we had seen. I'm so relieved we found him. He is professional but approachable.
