Since I have already seen several doctors for different conditions, I wasn't sure if I was ready to see an endocrinologist. But I'm so glad I did. Dr. Basa is knowledgeable. Took a month to get an appt, then they cancel the day before (2x). After getting an appt an order needed to be issued for blood work. They had to cancel the next appointment even though I called 7 times to GET THE ORDER, the staff never responded -thus no bloodwork had been done. I asked to speak to the Dr., they said that she was too busy. Once they did send the order, suddenly, after all the appointments, they can't find my insurance. Ridiculous! Excellent. Dr. Basa actually listened to my concerns! I have been thyroidless for 20 years and NEVER felt good on traditional thyroid medication. I have seen many endocrinologists over the years who tested all of my thyroid hormones, but focused ONLY on my tsh! No wonder I feel like death!!! She is allowing me to try an alternative medication and for that, I am forever grateful to her!

Run!! Dr. Basa is a horrible endocrinologist. If you disagree with her or if you complain about symptoms or side effects she becomes highly offended and defensive. She acts this way even if you respectfully disagree with her! I had high levels of androgens (as shown on blood test) and visible symptoms of a hormone imbalance. She had the nerve to say it was normal!!! Really...so its normal for women to have facial hair and male pattern baldness? She just didn't want to treat my condition.

DR BASA IS MY DOCTOR SINCE 2007 , SHE IS VERY SINCERE, METICULOUS,WITH ACCURACY,FRIENDLY,DETAIL,CARING,AND PROFESSIONAL. SHE SEND YOU THE RESULTS OF BLOOD TEST WITH ALL DETAIL REVIEW. AND SHE CALL YOU IF IT IS NECESSARY. I FELL SO GOOD WHEN I CALL HER OFFICE , SOME TIMES SHE PICK UP THE PHON HERSELF.AND ANSWER ALL OF MY QUESTION I DO NOT HAVE TO WAIT 24 HOURS TO GET A CALL BACK . I APPRECIATE HER AND HER STAFF.

The staff was very courteous and knowledgeable. Dr. Basa was very kind and took time to listen to all of my concerns. She explained my condition in a way I could understand and allowed me to ask questions if I needed to. I will be going back for sure!!
