Set aside her magnificent bedside manners and huge caring heart for a moment. She is arguably one of the most elite orthopedic surgeons on the planet. She operated on my 60 yr young wife who had a horrible break just above the ankle while surfing on vacation last week in Kauai. Beyond disappointing customer service. The receptionist was extremely rude and not a people person at all. She’s always booked out for months. You’re lucky if you get to see her. Luckier if the receptionist has the humanity to say something with aloha.
I was on Kauai from January 6 to March 31 & had an accident on January 27 in which my wrist was fractured in several places. Dr. Carnegie repaired it with a plate & 8 pins on February 7 after a cast in ER failed. I am 97% healed & my hand/wrist Orthopedic doctor in the Chicago area said that she & the therapist did a fantastic job!! I have no pain & full motion!
