It seems that the trade off of them taking state insurance is they treat you like garbage and do not have any bedside manner or regard for the pain and attitude they give you.
My friend went there as it was the only place she could locate that took her insurance and could see her quickly with the horrible tooth pain she’s been having. She went in and was having severe anxiety and started to have a panic attack because the drilling hurt and the sounds were overstimulating and Dr. Almejan rudely told her “stop breathing like that you’ll faint” and didn’t stop the drilling or show any kindness and patience for my friend to gather herself. This place is absolutely horrible and should only be used as a last resort. I got a few fillings a couple years ago and two have already come loose or broken off. Neither the dental hygenist, nor the dentist talk to you about what they're doing. During my first cleaning there they didn't even scrape anything off and it had been a couple years since my last cleaning so I definitely needed it. She just did the absolute minimum and walked out. DON'T GO HERE!!!!! BEYOND HORRIBLE!!!! I got a OHSU dental recommendation for a deep clean that has taken at least 5 months to get in...they told me I already had the appointment done?!?!?! Complete bullshit!!!
