I've been seeing Dr. Walsh for many years, and throughout 2 pregnancies. I am shocked to see negative reviews. She's always been incredibly thorough and seems to genuinely care about me and my overall health, not just the female stuff. I also feel I can be open and honest with her about everything without fear of judgement. The new location is beautiful and convenient. The staff is great. I can't speak to them not answering phones... when I called to make an appointment, I had no issues.
Dr. Allison was my first medical experience in the United States, and unfortunately, it was not a positive one. I went to her with concerns about irregular cycles, and without ordering any bloodwork or conducting a proper evaluation, she suggested I most likely had PCOS and told me to start taking a specific brand of myo-inositol. Her bedside manner was also very poor, which led me to seek care elsewhere, although I continued taking the supplement she recommended. My next doctor took a completely different approach. Absolutely impossible to get them on the phone for anything - even simple blood test results. I’ve waited for over 45 mins after my scheduled appointment time on multiple visits. There’s also a 0% chance you’ll see any of actual doctors you’ll just be scheduled with the nurse unless you have 3 months to wait. Honestly horrible experience overall.
Allison is a good doctor, but I got pregnant and needed to make an appointment with her, I left several messages and never got a return phone call. So I had to find a new doctor. It doesn’t matter how good the doctor is, if the office isn’t run well, she or he is going to lose patients. I now have a new Doctor who returns calls, and who I can actually make an appointment with.
