Dr. Hanauer has helped me tremendously with my PTSD. I have BCBS of TN from my employer but verified with my insurance first that she was covered. I also I used some on my EAP benefits at first to see if she was a good match. She was/is! Her previous military experience and experience with first responders was a definite plus for me.
SHE IS SO AMAZING. I recommend to any and everyone!! So understanding and compassionate. Alison has changed my life.
she does take BCBS, depending on the one you have. I do highly recommend her, many counselors, many years of finding someone that can help our situation and she was patient, definitely understanding and helped us walk through some of the stages going on. PTSD is definitely a very strong suite of hers to help with, as a mom trying to help my teenager through this, I learned the most from her. patience is key and if it wasn't for what I learned through her helping us, I cant say Id have made it through this stage with my child... read more
Doesn’t take BCBS but it is listed on her site that she does. Maybe take that off your site so potential clients won’t have hope that you take it. Just carelessness. Totally turns people off from therapy sometimes.
