Love her, but her office staff sucks!
I WAS NOT EVEN IMPORTANT ENOUGH FOR A RETURN PHONE CALL!! AFTER BEING SEEN TWICE IN ONE WEEK AT THIS OFFICE!! DID NOT FEEL LIKE A PRIORITY AT ALL!!
Very friendly staff and excellent care.
Dr. Whitman is a very caring physician. She listens and goes the extra mile to find the best possible route to treat the ailment. I highly recommend her as a treating physician.
My mother (Dr Whitman's patient for five years) was diagnosed with glioblastoma (aggressive terminal brain cancer) and Dr. Whitman allowed her to wait in the exam room for an hour and a half, with no communication. When she finally arrived, she told my mother it was too bad that she would be going to UVA and that she couldn't get treatment at Duke, since it is better.
