Very friendly staff and excellent care.
Dr. Whitman is a very caring physician. She listens and goes the extra mile to find the best possible route to treat the ailment. I highly recommend her as a treating physician.
My mother (Dr Whitman's patient for five years) was diagnosed with glioblastoma (aggressive terminal brain cancer) and Dr. Whitman allowed her to wait in the exam room for an hour and a half, with no communication. When she finally arrived, she told my mother it was too bad that she would be going to UVA and that she couldn't get treatment at Duke, since it is better. I brought my wife to go with her 83 yr old mother for an appointment at 9AM. I’m waiting in my vehicle and at 10:30 my wife text me they got into a room and waiting on Dr Whitman. This is ridiculous, every time the Dr is late and it is a long 1 1/2 hour wait. This physician needs to cease her over booking! Imytrying to convince my mother in law to find another physician!
She is awesome always concerned about me and my health.
