I had to have an appointment with Dr A. Mai due to elbow lump. Unfortunately, she arranged an appointment with me over the phone . I am very surprised in the medical records she wrote that it was appointment in person in her clinic. Really it was appointment over the phone. I asked the Dr Ho to sent someone to take biopsy from that lump. I spent time for waiting that appointment with 0 results. The lump on my elbow is continue growing. In my opinion Dr A. Incredible, patient and caring doc who is both brilliant and kind
Dr. Mai is a fantastic doctor with great bedside manor and clearly cares about her patients. The first time I saw her I did get an incorrect diagnosis, but the second time with more information to work with we figured out what I had and she referred me to further specialists to aid in treating me moving forward. Speaking from a chronically ill POV where navigating the healthcare system can be so frustrating, Dr. Mai was kind and actually listened to me and took my concerns seriously, and I'm so, so grateful!!
Dr. Mai is thorough, friendly and professional. She had already read the medical history and conducted a careful examination. He treatment and suggested follow up was appropriate. Dr. Mai is great!
Don't waste your time here. Fancy office but not much substance. Did not read patient's chart despite asking them to fill in many forms. Dismissive of problems and symptoms. Offered half-hearted contradictory advice. Did not help in any substantial way, did not follow up. What's the point of being a doctor if you're not going to treat your patients?
