Dr. Edwards appeared afraid to approach me, was dismissive of my concerns, and put disparaging remarks in my chart-conjecture that would certainly taint any future visits with another provider. She is clearly untrained in treating depression and essentially said so in my note. It was the most demeaning experience I’ve ever had with a “helping professional.”
Very engaged and attentive, and compassionate to my elderly parent. Will call me when necessary and handles all the details. Excellent medical knowledge and gifted at explaining.
She is a good doctor. She will listen to my research on my own medical treatment. She will usually allow me to try the mode of treatment that I would like to try before going with the route she wants. She has removed me from some medications that she thought maybe causing certain things without any scientifical data that showed the medication caused them.
It was difficult to communicate with Dr. Edwards as she often misinterpreted what was said. She made unwarranted assumptions and there was a general disconnect. A talented specialist later ordered imaging and diagnosed the symptoms she deemed unimportant.
Doctor Alice Edwards is very kind, compassionate and thoughtful. Her nurse and office staff are thorough, on point, and generally on time. She strikes a nice balance between making specific recommendations about changes to lifestyle, but also understanding when medication is the best course of action for the patient. She is relatable, reassuring, and shares her own experiences in order to make the patient feel comfortable. I believe she listens well and makes the most of appt times.
Dr. Edwards has been my Dr. since 2007. She left Monroe where I drove 1 mile to see her, and now I drive 20 miles. Getting my meds were kind of difficult but she did it. She is very close to scheduled appts. and I trust her comments about my health care.
I waited approximately 45min to see Dr. Edwards and when I did see her; I felt dismissed, misunderstood and patronized. I appreciate transparency and honesty in the patient/doctor relationship and this was not the case. I will not be utilizing her services in the future.
Dr Edwards office is professional, prompt, and caring. Dr. Edwards provides excellent healthcare and keeps me in tip-top condition. I trust her diagnosis and I get very good advice. Dr. Edward's provides behavior modification advice as an alternative to medication when appropriate, which I appreciate.
