Terrible. During every appointment his priority is to get me out ASAP. He gave multiple misinformation re: obtaining sleep studies and CPAP, creating many unnecessary problems for myself and the sleep technicians. He repeatedly refuses to answer medical questions specific to sleep. If I press for answers, he deflects, gaslights, and shames patient. He is ONLY willing to discuss AHI and ordering equipment. It is so bad, I felt the need to bring witnesses to appointments. It is no mystery why the only other nearby sleep doctor... read more
Liars! They lie to you every time. Very unprofessional staff. They constantly give you the wrong test results. They will give you the greatest news you have heard in years but retract it later because of a f#$k up and it just crushes your soul and has you questioning your existence. I can not think of any individuals who have harmed my way and quality of life than these people. It should be shut down by the state for incompetence. ZERO STARS SHOULD BE AN OPTION!!!
Dr. Rusk listens and asks questions. She looks carefully at my movements and offers pathways to better control. She gives me choices re my care.
Dr. Rusk is a good doctor but she is too busy. Eventually you will start to only see her PA. L Every appointment my father has he sees a PA instead of her. He is a very critical and complicated Parkinson’s patient, and really needs a doctor not an PA. Every time the PA changes his medications there is an issue with his blood pressure or nausea. We always end up in the emergency room. She also has a nurse that is aggressive and angry towards my mother when she calls for help. There has to be a better way than this for a Parki... read more
Dr. Rusk has an amazing ability to detect subtle neurological changes. Exams are comprehensive. The doctor’s questions are keen and we always receive a set of options. This doctor is an excellent listener with a broad grasp of neurology. Provides superb communication through either herself or the nurse.
Grasps at straws with regard to psychopharmacology. Bedside manner is so so. Not a caring APRN.
Dr. Rusk employs a “Karen” who does the 1980’s teenage valley-girl “uchh “ /eye roll combo AT PATIENTS. A defensive, angry, combative Karen is the gate keeper of Dr Rusks office. Personality type; it’s always someone else’s fault. I ignored her in the beginning because it’s the DR I’m going there to see. However, it became very clear that venting rage, contempt, disgust and disdain for me would not ever transition to problem solving or appropriate adult behavior. An officer staffer who can not be reasoned with, who interrupt... read more
