My son was under the care of Dr. Anwar while he was hospitalized for 13 days. Despite NUMEROUS attempts by myself, the nurses, social workers, etc relaying to Dr. Anwar that it was extremely important to please call me, he NEVER returned even one phone call. You can't give a ZERO or I would. Dr. Ali Anwar poisoned me with Prozac. After seeing that I was an "easier patient," he gave me to his less than competent PA, Saira Choudrey, who isn't even listed on the website. She prescribed me Prozac, told me to take more, and said "you don't need that other medication your on." I stopped the other medication and 5 weeks later, Dr. Anwar referred me to a Mental Hospital for mania. While there, the Competent MH staff said, "You can't take Prozac alone with Bipolar 1. Dr. Anwar is an Amazing and Very Compassionate doctor. He managed my daughter’s care when she was inpatient and she continues to see him. We were blessed to find such an amazing doctor that takes his time and really listens to your concerns. I can’t recommend him enough! He’s worth our 45 min drive!
This place listened to me, took the time to figure out what I thought was “wrong” With me my whole 34 years of living. I got the life-changing relief that I was actually pretty normal and easy to correct. I’m now able to perform at my job beautifully, get tasks I’ve always wanted to complete done, with no anxiety or stress. This place changed my life. I can’t thank them enough. Dr.Arnwar, and Dr.Sahar (apologies on spelling) improved my life in ways I never thought possible. I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you guys!
Dr. Anwar managed my daughter inpatient, IOP and now outpatient. I'm a nurse practitioner and have asked a lot of questions about her care along the way. He was receptive and open minded to feedback that I was observing at home as well as my concerns about medication management- which is not always the case with physicians. My daughter is now a happy, thriving pre-teen who is now seeing Dr. Anwar just for routine follow ups.
