Horrible experience. He was the doc-on-call for the ER when my husband presented with complex partial seizures. The ER doc ordered a scan. Lockfeld read the report next day & said there was a small, feint area that didn't look like much. Said he thought my husband was having an "acute stress reaction." I said i had only known my husband for 3 years but this was not how he responds to stress. Lockfeld shot me a look & said, seriously, "What do you DO to him?" It was a brain tumor. Unbelieveable.
Best doctor I've ever been to. Not only excellent in his field but on the lookout for other contributing actors.
Dr. Lockefeld was distant, distracted and unable to help our loved one. Previous testing was completed prior to our appointment and the results were not in the file when we arrived. We expressed our concern about this and he told us to "talk with his office manager". I wish I would have taken the time to read these reviews prior to my appointment, it would have saved me time and money. Luckily we have found a caring, competent and compassionate Neurologist elsewhere.
Not worth a star
I came to Dr Lockfeld after having seen 2 other neurologist. Dr Lockfeld not only recognized I had been having small seizures for years (diagnosed as light headedness), he also was the doctor whom sent me to my GP, a urologist, an allergist, was scoped etc and finally to a physical therapist in trying to find out why I was falling no balance high blood pressure incontinence weight gain with no appetite finding a 6 lb ovarian cancer tumor. He saved my life as it was ready to pop. He listens.
