I have never had so many negative expirences with a medical facility (and I work in the field) ranging from the poor customer service of the receptionists and inability to gather proper patient documentation (especially pertaining to insurance) to incorrect lab orders. If you want to waste hours of your time micromanaging the folks that work here, this is a great place to seek care. If you don't, I'd recommend another group practice. My experience with Dr. DiMatteo’s has been unacceptable. I arrived a few minutes late from work located 35 minutes away and was shamed by a nurse. Although I had specifically asked the receptionist to schedule me for an IUD check, ultrasound, and removal, the nurse unkindly stated that they don’t have time for me, even though the IUD placement has been painful for nearly a year now. My painful symptoms were ignored. I specifically said I don’t want to go on bc and that’s exactly what she prescribed. I wasn’t even checked for fibroids or endometriosis. Disappointing and a waste of a copay.
Dr. DiMatteo did a very poor job with treating my girlfriend. She showed zero signs of care when discussing my SO's issues and made incredibly obvious suggestions to solve them. Not only that, but she decided that it was appropriate to tell my girlfriend to Google some information, rather than telling her the information herself. It is true that Google has useful resources, but you would expect a medical professional to provide better and more thorough insight than a web page.
