Dr. Gelfer literally saved my life. Other Pulmonologist didn't look for the cause of a bad fungal infection in my lungs. Dr. Gelfer sent me for tests and treated the infection. Mitch is also great!
They do not answer the phone and the answering service cannot help with anything. They do not reach out to confirm appt's and are confused when you show up for your scheduled appt. DR Gelfer is probably a great Dr but I never met the guy.
Excellent doctor. Takes time to explain test results and explain medications. Excellent staff too, fast,friendly, and knowledgeable.
Tried to make another appt, had to cancel last 2. Never been seen. Called today was told husband no showed 2 times, no ma’am , I told your call center , they said we will send it over. Well they did not. And now we are looking for a new Dr..and it feels like we are punished for an office that failed to do their part!
After years of undiagnosed lung issue 3 other pulmonaries advised me to stop smoking, one told me I was crazy, another said heart condition. Dr Gelfer within a week had me in surgery (he did not perform surgery) and reattached my lung that had been severed by a mesh I had put in approx 10 years earlier
