I cannot speak highly enough of my experience with Dr. Au and his exceptional/compassionate team. As someone currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer, I was understandably anxious about my reconstructive journey. Every step of the process—from the initial consult to the post-op care—was handled with a high level of professionalism and care that exceeded my expectations.
My experience with Dr. Au, was absolutely amazing from start to finish. From the initial consultation to the post-op appointments, both he and his staff were personable, professional, and genuinely caring. Dr. Au even went above and beyond by answering my call after hours on Christmas Eve. I felt supported every step of the way, and the care I received exceeded all my expectations. Highly recommended!! I cannot begin to express what an amazing and caring surgeon I found in Dr Au. From my initial consultation through so far my second post op appointment he has taken time to answer all my questions, explained in detail everything he would be doing and truly showed he cared. While I’m still in the reconstruction process, I can attest to the incredible work and dedication Dr Au has given me. He has made a very daunting and life altering journey much easier than I could have imagined. Very highly recommend!!!
At first I was a little mad at him because he wouldn’t do the implant surgery unless I quit smoking. Needless to say I am 5 months smoke free !! I’m very glad he got me to quit .. He is an awesome Dr. and I understand now why I had to quit .
I had already gotten surgery prior to going to him in Philly, but the doctor that operated me was not very professional. So I didn't want her touching me again because she scared me. So I went to doctor Au, after he checked me he said I had to go back to her because she is a colleague of his. A couple of weeks later I had an appointment with my oncologist and she suggested I go to Dr Au, but I told her what happened but she told me he couldn't do that. To make another appointment with him. Wish he rejected me once more.
