The office rescheduled my appointment twice due to him having covid was the reason I was told. I arrived early, completed paperwork, taken to room fairly quickly, passing him sitting in the hallway dictating about a patient. Violating patient confidentiality, should have been my first clue! Sat in the room for 1 hr 7 minutes before he came in. When he did come into the examining room, it was without reviewing the xrays and had to go look at them. I was very sick, could hardly eat or sleep bcz of throwing up blood & other grossness. ( I had a lapband causing me misery). My primary care physician thought I may have lung cancer bcz of a large spot in my lungs. I've never smoked & I was shocked. She recommended I see a specialist. We tend to forget to show our appreciation to a doctor who although did not treat us personally did so to our loved ones during difficult times and helped us as much as them, That was my case with dr Lechin, in the long hours in the hospital waiting room, when my husband was in the ICU, latter in his room, and in our visits in the hospital, we wife’s many times feel more like mom’s when dealing we our husband’s! And are the ones that do most of the talking. Dr Lechin was just a wonderful in all this, and thank you!

I survived COVID, thanks to Dr Lechin! I was hospitalized with severe double pneumonia which the doctors in the hospital diagnosed as COVID, I needed to be admitted to the ICU, can’t begin to describe how scared I was, couldn’t see any of my family for several days at the beginning due to the tight isolation needed. I feel lucky to have been referred to Dr lechin, not easy to find a doctor that meet the expectations we all have of what a doctor should be, so seeing a doctor that despite this new age of doctoring, takes time to talk and always actually examines me and asks about my other medical and personal problems and takes an interest in me integrating it in my treatment, makes me feel cared for and safe. My mother and I have seen Dr. Lechin for years, he is one of the most caring and professional doctors I have ever seen, He started as our asthma doctor and since then became more our internist, He always treated us as a whole, that’s just how He is, He is a treasure to us.

I can't thank Dr Lechin enough for the excellent and compassionate care that he provided to my dear mother for the last 10 years of her life. My elderly mother was very sick for much of the time that he took care of her and he always gave us hope and calm, specially towards the end did everything possible, and many times things we thought impossible for her.
