SAW MY WIFE AFTER SEVERAL OTHER SURGEONS SAID SHE HAD SMA SYNDROME. DR. BABAKHANI ASKED HER SYMPTOMS, EXAMINED HER AND KNEW RIGHT AWAY IT WAS NOT AS OTHER SURGEONS SUGGESTED EVEN THOUGH THEY LOOKED AT THE CT SCANS (2 DIFFERENT CT'S). HAD THEY LISTENED TO HER LIKE DR. BABAKHANI DID, THEY MAY HAVE REALIZED ALSO THAT SHE DID HAVE SMA SYNDROME. TURNED OUT DR. My father was taken to the hospital for an emergency, and Dr. Babakhani was the surgeon assigned by the hospital to perform his procedure. Unfortunately, our experience with the communication and follow-up was extremely disappointing. Before the surgery, he gave us only a very brief explanation of the procedure, and when he came in to speak with us, it appeared that he had not reviewed my father’s records beforehand. While I appreciate Dr Babakhani's bedside manner the post-operative care has been deeply disappointing. I only met with the surgeon for two minutes prior to the operation, and since then, communication has been non-existent. I was provided with only three days of pain medication, and by the end of day 3, I was still in excruciating pain. Despite multiple attempts to schedule a follow-up or request a refill, the office was unresponsive including not ever answering the phone. This surgeon is AMAZING!! He has a great bedside manner and is a true professional. He took great care of my 80 year old mother. Her surgery was successful and I was updated at every step. Couldn’t ask for any better treatment from a medical doctor! Thank you Dr B

He was nice at the hospital only. 3 months after surgery I started getting 3 different bolls from him. My insurance approved and paid the full amount of $58,000. Theee months later he charged several thousand more. He’s a scammer. He turned over to collections and his attorney threatening to take my house. He and his staff were extremely laxy ride and demanding of me. I threatened to sue them and it immediately stopped. I only have ONE gallbladder not two.
