Terrible staff especially management
In January 2024 I had my annual eye exam with Dr. Wianecka in Valley Stream, NY. A refraction exam for writing a prescription for eyeglasses is part of this exam. There is no copay for this exam per my Medical Advantage plan with UHC. Dr. Wianecka said that because I could read the bottom line of the wall chart she does not have to do a refraction exam. Substituted were 3, unexplained, not needed tests by a technician to pad the bill to UHC. My 2024 prescription had 5 changes from my 2023 prescription, with no basis (no refr... read more
