Arrogant and negligent. I have been seeing Dr. Khan for 7 years now and he has repeatedly prescribed me medications while intentionally, stubbornly, and recklessly withholding information about them. I have asked repeatedly what said medicines would do and what they were for specifically and he would first say, “Don’t worry about it,” and then urge me not to research them on my own. He sucks. Zero communication skills.
Avoid Dr. Khan at all costs. If you are dealing with anxiety, benzodiazepine dependence, or other complex medication issues, I would strongly encourage you to carefully consider other options before attending an appointment. In our experience, Dr. Khan appeared willing to prescribe medications off-label way too easily. He committed complete negligence with my brother, he was in active manic episode and after seeing him for a total of 2 mins he didn’t want to provide medication and sent him on his way despite EVERYONE practically begging for him to be back on his medication, 20 mins later he got arrested and sent to a psychiatric hospital. This man lacks the intelligence to execute proper health care for the profession he chose!
