At visits, Dr. Espay was very kind and appeared compassionate. He spent a considerable amount of time educating both my husband and I about Parkinson's disease. But when my husband was in the hospital and having difficulty being cared for appropriately, Dr. Espay never reached out to us despite being at University Hospital and texting him. When my husband died, he did not seem to notice. No follow up. No continuity of care. My husband was in Dr. Espay's research study which we were so excited to be part of.
