Pros: I was seen quickly. Dr. Ngembus was professional and seemed to listen to my concerns. Cons: One of my major concerns was that I had gestational diabetes in my last pregnancy, which increases my chances of being diagnosed with type II diabetes later in life. I expressed that some of the symptoms I noticed in pregnancy related to diabetes persisted postpartum. The dr assured me that she would report back if anything was abnormal on my blood test. **I was asked when I initially posted to verify if I indeed went to Dr. Takem’s office. Why would I write a review for the wrong doctor? Please don’t try to gaslight me again after what I had of an already horrible experience where I felt talked down to and now I feel like I’m being talked down to again. My experience as a new patient was excellent. The appointment was well organized, and the staff was professional, courteous, and welcoming from the start to finish. The doctor took the time to listen to my concerns, explained everything clearly, and made me feel comfortable and respected. I did not feel rushed and all of my concerns were addressed thoroughly. Overall, it was a great visit and I am confident in the care that I received and I will refer my co-workers and friends.
