Experience with patient abandonment. During our final session he told me it would be our last and left me with no referral. Because of his lack of duty or care, I have been distrustful of doctors. He left a suicidal girl with no help. So please, if you need a psychiatrist, do not visit this monster.
Dr. Units worked with me extensively for a long time child patient of his who had lived out of state. He went above and beyond what I would expect a psychiatrist to do. He flew across two states to see the patient for free, testified two times ( one time for free) in a Medicaid hearing to obtain appropriate inpatient treatment in the only facility in the US that could help the patient but which the State Medicaid didn't want to pay for, and showed dedication to his patient that was exemplary. This doctor is abusive and should have his medical license taken away. I was his patient while in boarding school, and was forced to take stimulants he prescribed against my will that me feel terrible and did not help with my symptoms. I was afraid of psychiatry for many years. He also was well known to over-prescribe anti-psychotic medications to people that merely had trouble sleeping.
