This pompous quack misdiagnosed my hernia when 3 other docs and 2 ultrasounds proved different. He did a 30 second exam. He said he doesn't trust ultrasound. Apparently he doesn't trust other docs either. I had not 1 but 2 hernias and gangrene setting in my intestine due the the hernia slowing blood flow. Mercy surgeons saw how much pain I was in and operated 36 hours later.Go elsewhere.
While I can't speak about his medical skills, I can speak about his attitude and communication skills. He is arrogant and flippant. I had two appointments with him and made the decision to cancel my procedure because of his poor attitude. He is more concerned with being right than patient care.
Dr. Buchele spent a very long time talking to me about my options for the types of surgeries I could have. He explained each one in detail and why one would be better than the other. He left the decision up to me on which one. No pressure from him. Very nice doctor. I would recommend.
