Dr. Benvenisty is an incredible physician. Knowledgeable, caring, considerate, committed, communicative and dedicated. He performed my husband’s kidney transplant surgery and cannot imagine a better surgeon. We highly recommend him.

He is an untrustworthy and imperfect/flawed doctor. I am suffering from chronic pain, from a surgery he performed more than 8 years ago. He caused me to have permanent nerve damage. He was terrified that I would sue him, so he intimidated every vascular surgeon in NYC, so I would not be able to get an unbiased second opinion. Doctors are supposed to Do No Harm; the antithesis of what he did. Seek reviews directly from former and current patients.

I've known Dr. Ben for a few years, I came to him after Dr. Rao left me with aneurysms up and down my arm and lied to me for a whole year saying it was swelling that would go away. He is currently trying to find something to put in my arm so I can get the port taken out of my chest.

Dr. Benvenisty and his staff were very nice however for 45 minutes they charged the insurance like over $2,000. For which $390 was for starting my dad's file because he was a new patient. At the end, they told my dad to lose weight and nothing could be done. I was able to help my dad by reading about proper natural supplements for which he feels better already. Don't waste your time!

This is not a review of Benvenisty - he never worked on me. Rather, it is a review of his office staff at the Amsterdam location, whom I can only describe as unremittingly incompetent. Phone calls were never returned, appointments never set up. When asked to pull my chart they didn't even now what procedure Benvenisty had advised for me. Total chaos. I finally went elsewhere. These things being so, I have no doubt that Benvensity is an excellent surgeon.
