I have never felt respected or heard as a patient in my experiences with dr. Cahalan. Appointments consistently felt condescending and dismissive, especially around ADHD and mental health. I was spoken to in a way that felt belittling rather than collaborative, and at times my attempts to calmly explain my symptoms or work situation were met with passive-aggressive comments.
