Today at my appointment, I found him to be rude & condersending. This has been the third time his bed side manner was not been professional. He appeared to be rushing around from room to room with patients. My appt. Was a physical they allow 30 min. You need to book an appointment to discuss anything else. Yes I realize this, so change your rude approach & try to smile!!! Been his patient over 20 years, maybe you need a vacation. Wed. OCT. 21.
I have never felt respected or heard as a patient in my experiences with dr. Cahalan. Appointments consistently felt condescending and dismissive, especially around ADHD and mental health. I was spoken to in a way that felt belittling rather than collaborative, and at times my attempts to calmly explain my symptoms or work situation were met with passive-aggressive comments.
