I prepared for the exam and I wasn't on the hospital schedule. On May 2nd my colonoscopy was scheduled and they called to cancel it because the doctor had an emergency. That same day I spoke to the office staff and we agreed that my colonoscopy would be on May 16th. They told me it would be the same procedure. I called the office and waited for 17 mins before someone answered the phone. My mom was scheduled to see Dr. Bakhshi for a follow up. I provided her insurance over the phone beforehand, and they updated it in their system. My mom is currently in nursing home and was transported to the office for the appointment. She was sent home unseen because she did not present the hard copies of her insurance cards!!!! I have no idea who is running this office, but the front desk is horrible. You call in and get no information from the automated system about the office hours or lunch time. Then you have some entitled person yelling at you that its their lunch time, DONT ANSWER THE PHONE IF ITS LUNCH TIME GENIUS. As much as Dr. Bakshi is admired by the medical community, the lack of respect for clients from the front office staff are ruining his reputation. What happened to customer service?
