A medical test was order by Dr. Garza's P.A. but in order for it be approved by insurance the Dr. needed to provide information as part of medical review. The response we received via text no less, after multiple calls was that Dr. Garza was too busy for such tasks and would not be providing any information the insurance company need for approval. Personally I find this extremely rude and unprofessional. Would not recommend this office at all
Terrible experience from the appointment to six months later, while still trying to receive payment refund. The Dr. was very unprofessional and gave misinformation about medications that adversely affected my mother. As well, despite having a lengthy conversation about insurance, it was filed incorrectly and have spent 6 months trying to get resolution. The front office cannot answer questions and the billing will not return calls. Worst customer service I have ever experienced.
I am having problem getting my money refunded. I paid them at my visit and my insurance has paid them also and it has been since May and they won't refund my money. The office will not return call and won't answer the phone. This is not good business. My office visit was great. No problem with my visit.
I am writing this after mistreatment of my patient privacy and care by Dr. Garza's clinical staff. In particular, I am referencing the clinical manager Frederick. It is unfortunate as most patients that seek Dr. Garza's care (including myself), live with debilitating chronic pain. I was required to pay upfront for visits and insurance was to pay me. Paper work was filled out wrong and insurance paid them so they were getting paid by me and insurance. I am owed $257 and can't get through to billing or office manager. Have left numerous messages and text. Staff not friendly or helpful and front desk help is different every time I go in.
First visit you will see Dr Garza, after that it’s PA after another PA, and so on. They don’t bill correctly. Overcharged my copay every visit except once when I refused to pay and asked to use my credit from previous appointments and then on they continued to over charge and say it was right. They cannot produce any sort of ledger to prove what was paid when. I have spoken to my insurance and they confirm the copay was wrong. Never can get any answers from billing team or medical team to help with medical concerns.
I found Dr. Garza because I wasn't confident in competence of my blepharospasm doctor. Dr. Garza is amazing--she is knowledgeable, explains all in terms I understand, and genuinely cares about her patients. I have very seldom had to wait much after my appointment time. Her staff also show they care about the patients and are efficient in their jobs.
Dr only sees you at initial visit, then its PA. Garza's husband is office manager and should not be left alone with women. He will physically intimidate you & will block you from talking directly to Dr, even answering private patient calls/messages to Dr, even falsifying documents to insurance. Just DONT!!
Dr Garza was very thorough and answered any questions I had. I feel confident in the knowledge she exposes.
