Want to warn anyone who goes to see her that she did not assist me at all after 4 years of being a patient, when I went to see her with a problem in the inside of my left ear. Upon seeing her the second time in Jan 2021 (after seeing several other doctors including an ear doctor who gave me a CT scan which didn't find the issue) I requested an MRI scan. I am honestly blessed that I have her as my primary doctor. I can tell she genuinely cares about my well being and I sadly am one of those patients that does have a bunch of medical issues that would make for "one of those" patients that is very annoying to deal with. She never justs asks me what Im there for she always asks if Im doing ok. I have never had any issue with her staff and the clinic seems to be full of people who really care.
Receptionist was incredibly rude. I was asking for a telephone visit as a new patient and there is a polite way of explaining that’s not possible. She needs some sensitivity and customer service training! People are out here sick and don’t feel well!
I wasn’t sure if it was worth writing a review for Dr. Marrero, but today I saw another AdventHealth primary care doctor and had such an amazing experience I really see just how bad my two visits with Dr. Marrero were. She is a very kind person, so I don’t want to attack her personally in any way. But she was extremely late for both of our visits (first visit I waited 1.5 hours, second was a televisit and she was still 40 minutes late).
