I was warned by my own doctor that Dr. Bedestani has “an appalling bedside manner,” but also told he was competent and took my insurance so I proceeded anyway. What I got was outright negligence and nightmarish care. Very knowledgeable and informative.
Worst experience that I have had with a doctor, especially a gynecologist. Incredibly condescending and arrogant. Rushed through the appointment. Was not willing to think through questions or have a discussion. Definitely do not recommend.
Our experience has been 100% positive. During 2013/2014 my wife experienced problems due to diabetes. Not only did Dr. Bedestani allay my wife's apprehension and fears, but he also provided instruction and involvement during office visits for me as the caregiver. His staff taught me how to help my wife with pessaries and catheter use. He was extremely helpful in explaining the benefits and disadvantages of certain procedures.

Surgery was scheduled for 1-17-2018 05:00 hrs. at East Jefferson Hospital, due to road conditions, all major roads and bridges were closed. We were unable to get to hospital along with I understand some personnel for the hospital. Contact with Dr. Bedestani was made aware that all roads were closed and Dr. Bedestani abruptly cancelled all relations with us and stated he will arrange a new Doctor for us I feel that this was a blessing in disguise. We will contact our own Doctor.
Dr. Bedestani seems to be very condescending. During the very brief conversation, I never got a chance to explain my health issue. He made prescription of several drugs without any explanation. I tried to ask what those drugs would do and his opinion about the potential consequence of my symptoms. The only answer I got was a few medical jargons and his "I don't care" attitude. It was a quite awful experience. Maybe that was why his office was quite empty...

I strive to provide exceptional care to all patients. Obviously you felt dissatisfied with the entire experience and for that I must apologize. The entire office is set to provide excellence in patient care and one aspect is to respect patients time and not overbook appointment slots so that each and every individual gets the time needed to address their concerns. Please consider returning to the office so we may sort through the issues to get you feeling better as that is the ultimate goal.
Thank you SO much for everything that you got me threw. I am VERY grateful that you stood by my side at such a serious time of need. If it were not for you, I am not sure that I would be able to continue on w/my every day life the way that I am now able too. You are my, "Super Hero" I love that you are such a down to earth.person and you understand your patients concerns. You take the time to explain in full detail what you will do. Let's not forget that awesome sense of humor Captain.
