Unfortunately, our experience was different from the other reviews. We were offered a new medication for my son during our visit on August 13th. I asked for a little time to consider it and told the doctor I would let the office know the next day. I did exactly that on August 14th, and then followed up three more times over the following week. The office told me they had reminded the doctor, but we never received the new prescription. He is great , and my autistic son loves him !
I have been Dr Hefuna’s patient for over 5 years, and I feel lucky to have found him. He correctly diagnosed me, which previous physicians failed to do, and he is thorough and attentive with treatment, regularly monitoring my bloodwork and considering my comfort levels with side effects. My quality of life increased since I got into his care - and so did my objective functioning and performance. He is in my PhD thesis acknowledgements ;)
